Better Riding Days ...

Cadwell Park, between Horncastle and Louth on the A153, Lincolnshire.

Our friendly safety policy means you get loads of track time due to very, very, few interuptions for crashes!

Our objectives:
To improve the riding skills of motorcyclists with the help of the 12 man HRT Instructor Team and the use of the controlled 2-mile one-way road known as Cadwell Park full circuit. HRT Instructors will help students learn the ideal line, and their twice hourly briefings (am), and on-demand help (pm) will deliver vital practical advice to encourage students to explore their own and their machines' capabilities. Past experience has shown that this will improve safety on the public highway by giving participants a margin in times of danger.

It’s a funny thing ...
... but we don’t get many vans and trailers at our Better Riding Days! I suppose that's because we don’t allow race bikes, slick tyres, or anything else that can’t legally be ridden to the circuit. And if you’re riding to the circuit - like 90% of our customers do - there ain’t a lot of room for the tyre warmers either! No: like you, our customers are real motorcyclists, and getting stuck in traffic queues on 4 wheels is not in the plan when they could be enjoying the gorgeous ride into the Lincolnshire Wolds as do the HRT Team!

Ordinary motorcyclists on ordinary bikes ...
... GSXR1000; R1150/1200GS; CB500; Fireblade; VFR ... their riders all have common aims – experience, improvement, knowledge, safety and fun. Lots of them arrive in groups of one kind or another. Maybe just a few riding pals, groups of females, sometimes larger groups from organised training bodies like the IAM and RoSPA. Groups who appreciate just how important the experience can be to their members' development as all round safe and competent motorcyclists. Our Instructors are no different, and everyone goes home having made new friends too.

Could this be you?

* Maybe you’re a complete track novice – great, that’s what we’re here for - you'll love it!
* Or maybe you’ve been to a 'track day' or two and came away dissatisfied - or even frightened! Relax, this is different.
* Then again it's possible that you've had a really bad experience with some of the hooligans out there these days. No problem. No hooligans with HRT - and that's a promise!
* Maybe, though, you're a Cadwell expert. That’s fine too. Several of our expert customers keep coming back – it seems that even they like a safely controlled environment, and the chance to learn something new!  (And it's cost effective too, when you consider the extra track-time due to lack of interuptions!)

Whatever - it's you who can benefit from these days, and you who'll be having all the fun.

Have we made you think?
You'll find more details about the actual format of the days on the following page, or you can always get in touch.

By the way, it goes without saying ...
... that the HoppRiderTraining standard facilities at Cadwell Park include continuous on-site medical and ambulance cover and expert qualified Marshals with full radio back-up. These are the guys who make our days possible; these are the guys whom we love to pay just for being there and doing nothing!
